Responsibilities of our Receptionist:
To play an integral role within the centre team, providing a welcoming and professional first point of contact for members of the public, volunteers and other stakeholders. The role provides information and assistance through telephone, face-to-face and digital communication, alongside essential administrative and operational support to help the centre run smoothly and effectively.
About the Dorset Cat Centre team:
our adoption and homing centres care for thousands of cats each year until they are able to find a loving new home.
our dedicated team of staff and volunteers work together to provide the best possible care for the cats at our centre, while supporting the many different activities that help keep the centre running smoothly.
What we’re looking for in our Receptionist:
previous administration or customer service experience
a confident communicator with excellent organisational skills.
a strong, flexible team player
ability to work on own initiative accurately and under pressure
experience using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel
